Hitting rock bottom at the Oscars

I liked the opening Errol Morris film and Ellen's intro but after that it's been dreadfully boring and going downhill every minute. The only reason I'm watching is the skewering over at http://www.theshowbizshow.com/index.jhtml.

It's always interested me how the amazing art of film can be reduced to this annual, self-congratulatory snoozefest.
