Early morning at the beach

Here's a good shot showing the beach and ocean to the right (west) and the backwater area to the left. An hour after low tide, it's mainly sand although you can see some water on the far left. The dune in the middle divides these two landscapes and in the distance is Wood's End Lighthouse at the far end of Herring Cove Beach.
